Daily Routine.

Category: Elementary Tasks Date 2012-12-04 09:59:00

Hello partners,

I am going to describe a very important Italian singer.

I imagine as it can be a day in his life.

He gets up at seven o'clock and has a shower for ten minutes. He has breakfast at eight o'clock, he has cereals with milk and orange juice.

He takes an airplane to go to Madrid at ten o´clock in the morning.

He arrives in two hours at Barajas airport and there he has a bedroom booked in a hotel in the city centre.

He  meets with another singer to have lunch at half past two in a restaurant.

He goes back to the hotel at three o'clock until six o'clock in the afternoon to have a rest, to have a bath and to have some good and relaxing massages.

He has to go to the auditorium at seven o'clock  to rehearse his voice and to practise some dance with his music band and other singers until the concert starts.   He arrives at ten o'clock in the evening then the concert starts and  it lasts two hours.

During the concert there are many people, thousands and thousands of persons. The most expected moment is when two singers sing 'Love is a simple thing', the popular song at the moment.

When the concert concludes, he returns to the hotel to have dinner, have a shower, relax and sleep.

I have to comment about him that he is a singer who was in the drug world and has helped a Voice program.

Who is he?

He is a singer: Tizano Ferro.

Do you know him?

Do you like his singing?

See you soon.

Rubén.

Pilar, Rosa and Maria José. Table manners in USA.

Category: 4.- Travelling Date 2012-12-04 08:32:58

If you want to do it very well in a dinner jacket in the US, you will have to follow these recommendations and you can also have a watch at this Youtube video about etiquette.

OPEN HERE

Do you think the film "Pretty woman" is a good example to learn table manners and other etiquette habits in the US?

Table manners in different countries can be very conflicting, according to your culture and religion...... For example in Muslim countries it is a good manner  to burp after dinner,.. What do you think about this?

And how do you think table manners were in the Antiquity?

If you want to know it,  watch this video and tell us if it is the same now.

I get up at eight o´clock and I have breakfast, after I turn on the TV to watch the news of the day. I have a shower, I brush my teeth, etc,etc.... I do the  housework until midday and then I cook and after I eat.  I always leave home to work at quarter to two because I work in Huesca and I start my job at three o´clock until nine o´clock. I get back home and have dinner. I watch TV and I go to bed. I think that´s enough!

Good night.

MY DAILY ROUTINE, ANE

Category: Elementary Tasks Date 2012-12-02 20:20:46

Hello class,

My daily routine isn´t very complicated.

I work in shifts, a week in the morning and the next week in the afternoon and evening.

When I work in the mornings, I wake up at five o´clock.

I have for breakfast a glass of milk with cocoa accompanied by biscuits. And five minutes later, I wash my face and I clean my teeth.

At quarter past five, I get dressed with the work clothes and at half past five I leave home to go to work in my car.

I get to work at quarter to six.  I work in a factory eight hours a day.

After working, I go back home at ten past two, more or less.

After eating, I lie on the sofa and in the afternoon I do the housework.

In the evening, I have dinner and I go to bed at nine o´clock.

At the weekend I´m going to eat at my parents' house, I like to go to the cinema and walk with my  partner around the city.  I also like to read an interesting book.

See you soon, Bye.
