Arriving at Dublin by Luis
Category: 2.- Future plans Date 2012-11-26 16:34:54
If I had won the lottery, I would have gone to Dublin.
Dublin is situated in an island of United Kingdom . Dublin is the capital republic of Ireland. If I went there, I would travel to Barcelona by train and then I would travel by plane from Barcelona to Dublin.
First of all, I will visit Trinity College because it is one important College of Ireland. It was founded in 1592. I am going to see its beautiful building and the book of Kells. As I will be thirsty, I would also visit the museum of Guinness. If you visit this museum, they will give you a pint of Guinness on a pub from where you can see all the city .
In the second place, I am going to watch two Cathedrals, Saint Patrick´s Cathedral and Christ Church. The first one is the tallest religious building of Ireland and it was built in 1191. The second, is the house of the bishop. As I will be tired, I would go to drink a beer and listen to live music. I will go to the Temple pub, this pub is the most important pub in Ireland.
In the third place I will visit Kilmaninhan Gaol, this was a prison and now it is the museum of the History of Ireland, also I would you like to visit The Old Jameson Distillery, now it isn`t a distellery but it is a museum where you will learn to make whiskey.
Finally if I feel like walking, I will visit Phoenix Park. It's the world's largest urban park. Here the President of Ireland is living and you can find the Wellington Monument or the Wellington Testimonial, there is also a zoo... and much more.
But as I didn´t win the lottery, I wasn't able to go to Ireland.
What would you like to visit in Ireland?
Would you like to go to Saint Patrick's party?

Daily Routines

Hello,
I'm a very important writer.
I usually get up at seven o'clock and I have a shower.
Then I have breakfast while I read the newspaper.
About nine o'clock, I start writing until four o'clock in the afternoon.
Then I like relaxing.
I have lunch. I like good food and good wine.
After lunch I like reading a book. I'm a lover of Shakespeare.
Also I'm an enthusiastic amateur musician. In the working days I play the bass guitar in a band called 'Damn right I Got the Blues'.
When we finished, I go home.
I have dinner and I go soon to bed because I'm 63 years old.
I hope you like my latest book: WINTER OF THE WORLD.
See you soon.
Can you guess who am I?
Have you read any of my books?
What do you think about them?

Have you got any plans for these holidays? If you don’t have any, I can give you some ideas.
I have been browsing on the internet, and I have found some things you can be interested in. As I know you like English, you are going to love it. If you have a holiday week, we could go there and we could also go with our children or just alone.
This place is: The Jarilla farmhouse in the Contraviesa mountain range (Granada).
The Jarilla is located around beautiful vineyards, and almond and fig trees. This Hotel offers intensive English courses for parents while their children learn and play in English.
In the resort there is: swimming pool, tennis court (with optional classes), library with books, magazines and DVDs in English...
If you are very interested, you can call and get information next week, but if you book now, you are going to have a 10 per cent discount on two weeks.
As soon as we arrive, we will be invited for a welcome barbecue on Sunday night. We are going to have about five hours of English classes a day. All of our activities, and meals: breakfast and lunch, will be also in English.
If you are asking yourself, How much is it? I will tell you that the price is a bit expensive. If you want, we could make an appointment with Rosi fortune teller to know if we will win the lottery. This will be amazing!
We could also visit Granada. If we went there, I would show you the city, and I’m completely sure you would like it.
What do you think about it?
See you soon.
For more information, you can see the website of the place
