Welcome back to school. We start a new school year and for sure we are all going to enjoy it a lot. We have new teachers, new classrooms, amazing activities... Our Year 3 students are going to start the project this year in that grade and we are very excited for them. We welcome our 3-year-olds, too.
FIELD TRIP TO LA MANREANA

Year 1 and Year 2 students went to La Manreana, in Juneda in the month of April. They spent there 2 days doing lots of activities in Spanish, English and Catalan. There were lots of animals in the farm: horses, cows, ducks, goats, pigs, rabbits and bunnies, hens laying eggs, birds, turkeys... there was also a SNAKE!!! It was very scary!
We saw how the farmers milk the cows, tasted the eggs, rode a horse, did some bread, watched a movie because it was rainning, played games at night and during the day... and they even slept in bunk beds!!!
We had a great time and we wanted to stay for one more day!!! Maybe next year!
ENGLISH DAY

In the month of February the whole school celebrated the English Day. All the children in the school participated in different activities and all of them were in English.
En el mes de febrero todo el colegio celebró el Día Inglés. Todos los niños del cole participaron en diferentes actividades y todas ellas fueron en inglés.
WE ARE USING OUR SENSES

Year 1 students are studying the five senses in Science. They are doing some experiments in class and they are having a great time!!! Look at these pictures about how fun they had smelling different things.
THE SMALLEST TREE

Some parents from our school prepared a Christmas play in English for the Infants and the students from the first cycle of Primary. It was a story about a small tree who was all alone in the forest becauses any family wanted to take him home. At the end the tree met lots of friends; the bunnies, the birds, the reindeer and the star.
These parents did a great job and the children enjoy the play a lot. They were all very quiet and paying attention and they were really surprised to see some their parents and parents' friends talking in English.
We hope we can have another play in English next year!

CHRISTMAS CAROLS

Year 2 students got together to sing some Christmas Carols. They sang a compilation of Christmas carols in Spanish, English and Catalan. They had fun all together.
Los alumnos de segundo se juntaron para cantar villancicos. Cantaron una recopilación de villancicos en castellano, inglés y catalán. Se divirtieron mucho todos juntos.
