II ENGLISH BOOK FAIR

On January 17th and 18th we are delighted to have John Edwards and his travelling children's English book fair with us. During these days chlidren, parents and teachers will have the opportunity to browse and buy books in English. There will be also storytelling sessions for the whole school.
Durante los días 17 y 18 de Enero, tendremos en nuestro cole a John Edwards con su librería ambulante para niños. Durante estos días, niños, familiares y profesorado podremos disfrutar, tocar, leer... familiarizarnos con libros en Inglés. Como parte de esta actividad compartiremos con John sesiones de cuentacuentos en Inglés para todo el centro.

All the students at San Jose de Calasanz are preparing Christmas decorations, cards and are learning English Christmas Carols. We are all very excited because our favourite holidays are around the corner!!!
Todos los estudiantes del San José de Calasanz están preparando decoraciones navideñas, postales y están aprendiendo villancicos en inglés. Todos estamos muy emocionados porque nuestras fiestas preferidas están a la vuelta de la esquina.

As you can see, 4-year-olds enjoyed a halloween book. The students were activelly engaged and responded promptly to all the questions the teachers asked about the book. The kids trick-or-treated the teachers as soon as the reading finished. We had a nice day and both teachers and students had fun.
Como podéis ver, los alumnos de cuatro años difrutaron de una lectutra sobre Halloween. Los chicos estaban realmente interesados en la lectura y respondian rápidamente a las preguntas que les hacíamos los profes. Cuando se acabó la lectura, los niños llevaron a cabo el tradicional trick-or-treat. Hay que decir que nos lo pasamos muy bien

We celebrated Halloween last Wednesday the 31st of October. We were listening to scary stories, playing bobbing apples and trick or treat. We had a very funny day!!
El pasado Miércoles 31 de Octubre, celebramos la fiesta de Halloween. Escuchamos historias de miedo y jugamos a dos juegos tradicionales ingleses: "Bobbing apples" y "Trick or treat ". ¡Pasamos un dia muy divertido!

The 3-year-olds celebrated Halloween. Three English witches visited them, played some tricks, sang, danced, and painted the students as cats... The children also went trick-or-treating and got some candy. It was a very funny day!!!
Los niños de 3 años celebraron Halloween. Tres brujas inglesas los visitaron e hicieron trucos, cantaron, bailaron y pintaron a los estudiantes de gatos. Los niños también participaron en el "trick-or-treat" y consiguieron unos dulces. ¡Fue un día muy divertido!
