We met George Clooney by the street.
Gloria & Carla: Hello!! Are you George Clooney?
George: Yes, and you?
G&C: We are Gloria and Carla. Nice to meet you!
G: Thanks, nice to meet you, too.
G&C What are you doing here in Zaragoza?
G: I’m making a film in this place.
G&C: Oh! Very well, that sounds interesting. And when does the film release?
G: It will be next month.
G&C: Great, we will go to watch it. Do you recommend it?
G: Yes, of course, it is my way of living. Well, It is really good, go and you'll see.
G&C:Had you ever been in Zaragoza?
G:No, this is my first time here,but I think I will come back.
G&C:Would you like to go sightseeing?
G:I don`t know ,can you tell me what I can see?
G&C:Do you like visiting ancient cathedrals?
G:Yes, I think that it can be very interesting. In the US we don't have ancient cathedrals and this is because American people like visiting them when they come to Europe.
G&C:Here in Zaragoza we have El Pilar and a lot of interesting places. If you want I can drop you in.
G:Thats great .Give me your telephone number and we'll get in touch.
G&C: Sure. It has been really a pleasure, thank you so much for your time.

FINDING THE PRESIDENT

Madrid, 14th January , 02:40 AM
We were returning from a party late at night, we were walking in a solitary and dark street in downtown.
We met Mr. Zapatero. He was walking like a normal person, without bodyguards.
- Excuse me, it’s possible that you are Mr. Zapatero the president of Spain? You are very similar to him.
(He saw us with a strange face and said to us:)
- Finally I find someone! I got lost and unconscious for…..I can’t remember for how many hours. I was in a meeting and I went to the toilette because I felt a bit sick and now I´m here.
I was excited and I said to him:
- You have no idea how great it´s to meet you. You have been disappeared for a week. Everybody is looking for you. It is believed you were kidnapped by a terrorist group.
In that moment the President put a surprised face and said:
- Oh my God, I can’t believe it. And what happened in these days?
At this moment we have the temptation of helping him to keep disappeared for a bit more.
But finally, we take him to the police and we were rewarded by this action. Now we
are as famous as the President and every channel wants to interview us.

Esperanza would like to meet José Antonio Labordeta and we have imagined a possible conversation. Here it is.
- Excuse me, you must be J.A.L., are we right? I´ve got a book written by you. Could you write something for me in the first page?
- Of course, it will be a pleasure.
- Sorry, I haven’t told you my name. I´m Esperanza and I’m pleased to meet you.
- It’s always nice to meet people who know you.
- I’ve watched you on TV, walking around Spain with your rucksack and talking with local people. Could you tell me a good place in the North to spend a weekend?
- You can go to the Pyrenees, it’s a really wonderful place.
- I know, thank you. And Where would you like to write a new book? Do you feel comfortable here in Zaragoza or would you prefer another place? I love going to the mountains and especially writing on rainy days.
- You have caught me red-handed. Now I´m writing a new book, I hope you like it.
- I'm sure it will be very good, I am fond of your books. Well, I want to tell you something. Many years ago, you went to a fair in Madrid. I was working in that fair and you gave a concert. Then we had dinner all together. That was in 1.988, do you remember that?
- Let me think…that was too many years ago and I visit too many places so I don´t remember that moment, sorry.

- Gloria: Thanks. Are you English?
- C & R: No, we aren´t. We are Spanish.
- Gloria: I speak Spanish, too. ( All of us smile.) Spanish people are very funny!. I like Spain.
- C &R: Is your travel a business or a pleasure one?
(She looks at us and smiles)
- Gloria: I travel with my husband, we are spending some holidays together.
(Gloria has a look to her watch and she says to us “Bye”).

- Oh! Yes, to start from the first place gives a lot of posibilities to win the race. I need ten points and good luck, too.
- Do you like Interlagos?
- Interlagos is a very special circuit for me because I have won my two titles here.
- Do you believe that you have any possibilities to win here?
- There are possibilities but it is very difficult. It doesn't depend only on myself.

- Not at all. Zero, zero, zero.

A STORY OF THIEVES

Everything began a winter day when I was at home with my grandmother.
I was playing, when I heard noises at the front door of my house.
I aproached it with the intention to open the door as I supposed they were my parents, but something stopped me and I looked through the peephole.
What was my surprise, when I realized they were not my parents.
They were two young men doing something in my house.
I didn´t know what to do, because my grandmother was very old and she was sick.
I had a dog which I saw quite nervous and it joined us under the table.
The only solution that came into my mind was shouting, so the thieves realized there were people inside the house.
Thank heaven, they went away but taking the whole lock with them.
