The Gruffalo

During the Jornadas Culturales we have been learning things about forests. In the 1st cycle we have worked around different stories placed in forests and 1C did it with the Gruffalo.

We read the book, we made finger puppets, a mural, we participated in gymkhanas in the school's forest...

Here you can watch a story about the five senses. In class we are writing another story by... Brian Wildsmith? Eric Carle? Bill Martin Junior? Noooo... by 1C and 1A! Our own story, like we did with the animal book. We are wonderful writers!

You have done a great job with the posters. Can you think of of more things that we identify with our senses? What can you see, hear, taste, touch or smell? How do they look, sound, taste, feel or smell?

For example: I can taste white chocolate. White chocolate tastes sweet.

Sweety and Candy are back!

Sweety and Candy, las famosas exploradoras de libros y cuentacuentos, están de vuelta.

Pasarán de nuevo por la mágica librería de las Fuentes, "El pequeño teatro de los libros". Será el sábado 9 de abril, de 18h a 19h.

Contarán varias historias, entre ellas, The Gruffalo, ¡nuestro cuento en el bosque para las jornadas culturales!

Está dirigido a niños a partir de 3 años y la entrada son 3 euros.

Una postal de las vacaciones

¿Qué os parece si a la vuelta de Semana Santa les mandamos a nuestros amigos de Londres una postal de nuestras vacaciones?

Intentad traer una postal de donde sea que vayáis (no tiene que ser comprada si no queréis, puede ser un dibujo o una foto). Escribid en el cuadernito algunas frases de lo que habéis hecho y visto y a la vuelta de vacaciones os enseñaré cómo escribir la postal.

¡Les hará mucha ilusión saber qué hacéis! Así os conocerán un poquito más antes de que vengan en mayo al cole.
