GUESS THE TALE!

           Once upon a time down on an old farm lived a duck family. Mother duck had been sitting on her new eggs. One morning, the eggs hatched and there were six ducklings. One egg was bigger than the rest, and it didn´t hatch. Mother duck could not remember a seventh egg. The last egg finally hatched. A strange looking duckling with gray feathers, which should have been yellow, looked at a worried mother. As the ducklings grew, Mother duck worried “I can´t understand how this ugly duckling can be one of mine” she said.

    As the days went by, the ugly duckling became more and more unhappy. His brothers didn’t want to play with him and the other farm animals laughed at him. He felt sad and lonely. He secretly cried at night.

    “Nobody loves me, they all tease me! Why am I different from my brothers? “

    Then one day, he ran away from the farm yard. He went to a pond to question other birds. “Do you know any ducklings that have grey feathers like me? “They said no. The ugly duckling was sad and very lonely.

    One day he saw some beautiful birds. They were white, with long necks, yellow beaks and large wings. “If only I could look like them.” he said.

    As the ugly dukling grew, he was lonely. However, one day he saw his reflection in the pond.

    “How I´ve changed!” he said: “I can´t recognise myself! 

    When the swans returned, he realized that he was a swan also. “We are swans like you” they said. Now he swam majestically with the swans. One day he heard the children on the river bank say “Look at that young swan! He´s the finest of them all.”

Cuento de la avispa enfadada

Los alumnos de sexto leímos un cuento en Ciudadanía, como no nos gustó el final decidimos cambiarlo. De un cuento han salido un montón de historias diferentes, así que hemos pensado escribir aquí el comienzo de la historia y añadir en los comentarios nuestros finales.

Esta era una avispa que se enfadaba por cualquier motivo y enseguida sacaba su aguijón venenoso para imponer su opinión y sus puntos de vista.

Todos los animales la temían. Nadie quería discutir con ella, ni siquiera hablar con ella, ni tan solo dirigirle la palabra de tan quisquillosa como era.

Así se fué quedando sola y sin amigos...

Os hemos preparado una nueva actividad en inglés.

Cada semana Michael contará un cuento en clase sin decir el título. También lo colgaremos en el blog. Al final de la semana abriremos los comentarios para que escribáis el título e iremos añadiendo el texto al mural que estamos preparando.

LOS ALUMNOS DE 2º CICLO HAN ATRACADO SUS BARCOS EN EL PUERTO DE UTEBO

LOS PIRATAS LLEGAN AL ABORDAJE PARA ENSEÑARNOS SUS HAZAÑAS

OS VAN A RECITAR SU POESÍA FAVORITA, “LA CANCIÓN DEL PIRATA”, QUE ESCRIBIÓ JOSÉ DE ESPRONCEDA.

DESPUÉS, VEREIS COMO DANZAN, REPRESENTANDO SUS AVENTURAS, EN BUSCA DE “LA ISLA DEL TESORO”

PARA ELLO , HAN ELEGIDO LA BANDA SONORA DE “PIRATAS DEL CARIBE”

UN FUERTE APLAUSO…

JUEVES LARDERO LONGANIZA EN EL PUCHERO

La tarde del jueves lardero como todos los años nos reunimos para escuchar el pregón de carnaval y comernos nuestro bocata de longaniza.
